Medical Disclaimer
Effective date: 16 August 2026 Last updated: 26 September 2026
Remedies helps you keep track of the medicines you already have. Please read this before you rely on it.
Not a medical device
Remedies organises and reminds. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and no medicines regulator has reviewed or approved it.
Not medical advice
Nothing in the app is medical or pharmaceutical advice. Ask a doctor or pharmacist about doses, interactions, side effects and whether a medicine suits you.
Only what you entered
Remedies shows the information you typed in or scanned. It does not check names, strengths, doses or expiry dates against any source. Read the packaging or the leaflet before taking anything.
Reminders can be late or missed
Reminders are ordinary phone notifications. iOS can delay or drop them, and none arrive while the phone is off. Never let Remedies be the only thing standing between you and a dose that matters.
Not for emergencies
In an emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital.
Where this appears in the app
- Before first use — a full-screen step that cannot be skipped or swiped away. Acknowledging it records which version was agreed to, and when.
- Any time afterwards — About → Legal → Medical disclaimer, showing the same words.
